  5. BLOOM : Material R&D at Core, Setting New Benchmarks for Custom Extruder Parts – See…

BLOOM at K2025: Unlocking New Cooperation Chapters with Materials and Technology at the Global Rubber & Plastics Gala

As K2025 Germany-hailed as “the bellwether of the global rubber and plastics industry”-draws to a close, BLOOM, with its deep expertise and innovations in extruder parts, has left a trail of technical resonance and cooperation expectations at Booth 8B E11-12. From the bustling stream of inquiries to in-depth technical exchanges, we have showcased the strength of Chinese intelligent manufacturing in the extruder parts sector through our differentiated advantage of “taking material R&D as the core”.

On-Site Highlight: High-Performance Exhibits Win Global Acclaim

During the exhibition, BLOOM’s core technological achievements became the “star attractions” at the booth. Our independently developed nickel-chromium-boron-silicon bimetallic bushings, with their dual properties of super wear resistance and corrosion resistance, attracted numerous customers engaged in masterbatch, engineering plastic, and fluoroplastic production. Many customers compared the wear test data of ordinary bushings with BLOOM’s products on-site, and recognized their durability under complex extrusion conditions-this is the result of our strict performance control from the material source, and the key to solving customers’ pain points of “frequent part replacement and high operation costs”.

Equally popular were the cutting-edge material applications supported by Anhui Hangon Ultrafine Metal Co., Ltd.: high-end metal substrates made via PTR ultrafine grain modification technology balanced the hardness and toughness of screws and barrels; nano-carbide-reinforced metal parts significantly extended the service life of core components to meet the high-torque demands of twin-screw extruders; and NI60 alloy composite integral bushings produced using unique Hot Isostatic Pressing (HIP) technology provided customized solutions for extrusion scenarios involving corrosive materials like fluoroplastics. These exhibits were not just “parts” in the ordinary sense, but concrete manifestations of “precise matching between material performance and application scenarios”.

Strength Endorsement: Full-Chain Confidence from R&D to Production

In addition to product performance, customers also cared about the ability to “ensure stable supply” and “achieve sustainable technological upgrading”-and this is exactly where BLOOM’s confidence lies.

The “support” from Our R&D base – Anhui Hangon Ultrafine Metal further reassured customers: as a scientific and technological achievement transformation project of Northwestern Polytechnical University, its core team includes 5 professors and more than 10 doctors. With a registered capital of 144 million yuan and a 30,000-square-meter production scale, it provides BLOOM with a solid backing from “material R&D” to “mass supply”. When customers learned that we could customize material formulas according to their specific extrusion materials (such as high-fill masterbatches and high-temperature engineering plastics), many expressed their intention to conduct sample testing on the spot.

Exhibition Concludes, Cooperation Continues: Looking Forward to Writing a New Chapter with You

The conclusion of K2025 is not an end, but a new starting point for BLOOM to deepen cooperation with global customers. During the exhibition, we collected hundreds of customer needs-from “customized high-wear-resistance screws” to “extrusion solutions for corrosive materials”- each of which will guide our technical optimization.

If you missed the on-site exchange, there’s no need to regret:

If you need customized solutions for your extrusion equipment (twin-screw extruders, injection molding machines, etc.), our technical team can provide one-on-one consulting services;

From face-to-face exchanges in the German exhibition hall to future online and offline interactions, BLOOM has always believed that the competition in extruder parts is essentially a competition of material technology and scenario adaptation capabilities. K2025 has shown us the global rubber and plastics industry’s demand for “high-quality, customized parts”, and further strengthened our direction of “driving industry upgrading through material R&D”. We look forward to working with you to make every extrusion production process more efficient and stable!
